Introduction

This guide shows you how to remove the back cover on the modem. This can be useful for either replacing the back cover, or to gain access to the internal components.

What you need

Remove the three T8 Torx screws on the bottom of the modem.

Use a plastic spudger tool to lift up the bottom part of the back cover.
Lift it up far enough so that the tabs for the screw mounts clears the bottom of the modem.
Pull the back cover towards the bottom of the modem until the cover pops off.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order. When putting the back cover in place, be sure all of the tabs snap back into place.
