Neato Botvac D75 Battery Replacement

Introduction

The battery is made from Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) with 3600mAh battery capacity and 12 Volt DC.

What you need

    • Use Phillips #1 screwdriver to unscrew the two bottom cover screws

    • Be careful, the screws are self-retained on the cover itself and does not come off the battery cover.

    • Lift battery cover out.

    • Be careful when taking out the battery. Do not pull on the wires or battery trying to get the connector out.

    • The cord has prongs on it that are a little difficult to get out. Use a flathead screwdriver to press the release tab on the connector to remove it.

Thanks for the tuto.

an additionnal info when having a battery issue, is to the reset to new battery. enter the menu, then help, and chose new battery.

it seems the neato system is set for planned obsolescence… unfortunatly for customers….

so I did it because battery stayed empty while plugged and switch found ok . And new my botvac is ok, like new!!
