This guide will walk you through the process of replacing a faulty LCD screen in a Motorola Moto G4 Plus phone.

What you need

    • Using a heating pad, hair dryer, or heat gun, heat up the edges of the LCD screen.

    • Lift up the front facing camera to make room for a spudger.

    • With the LCD screen still warm, use a spudger to push on the screen from the gap created by lifting up the front facing camera .

    • Wedge a card or other thin object in the screen separation.

    • Slide the card or other object around the perimeter of the screen to maximize separation.

    • Lift up the two orange cables connecting the screen to the phone.

    • Remove the screen.
