Introduction

The glass covering on mobile devices can be prone to damage and constant wear and tear. The Motorola Adventure V750 has a very moderate process in replacing the front protection screen.

Parts

No parts required.

  • Remove the back cover and battery of the Motorola Adventure V750.

  • Remove the screws you see using screw driver.

  • There will then be four screws removed, and you will now be able to remove the battery compartment. Once the battery slot is removed, there will be access to one of the ribbons (connects the screen to the main body of the phone). Unclip this and the phone will now be in two parts.

  • The next step will be to remove the two screws at the bottom of the main display.

  • The display part which covers the LCD can now be removed and is held on by clips which can be found if you run your fingernail along the edge of the housing to which will cause a release of the clips.

  • Release the display up to the point where you see two metal parts (left and right of the Motorola text). The top part of the display is held on with double sided tape.

  • Remove the display by using some force to unstick the tape. Be careful not to bend this part back and snap it! Eventually, the tape will unstick.

  • Take replacement glass and place carefully on the front part of the phone.

  • Insert, and place carefully.

  • To reassemble, make repeat the steps in reverse.
