Introduction
- Preparation:
- Turn off the printer and disconnect it from the power supply or USB.
- Prepare a small, clean workspace and a container for screws so that nothing gets lost.
- Paper roll cover removal:
- Gently open the cover where the paper roll is located.
- Inspect the bottom and sides of the cover—there should be screws there.
- Housing disassembly:
- Using a suitable screwdriver, remove the screws from the bottom and sides.
- Carefully remove the upper housing to avoid damaging the clips.
- Accessing internal components:
- After removing the housing, locate the black part (this may be the mechanism mount or another housing element).
- Remove the screws on the black part.
- Circuit board and battery removal:
- Locate the screws holding the circuit board and carefully remove them.
- Gently take out the circuit board, being mindful of the wires and ribbon cables.
- Remove the battery (it is usually shaped like a battery).
