Microsoft Surface Pro Kickstand Replacement

Introduction

This replacement guide will help you with the following:

Completely remove the old kick-stand and install a new one.

What you need

  1. Microsoft Surface Pro Kickstand Replacement, Kickstand: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Turn the tablet so the back is facing up.

    • Lift the kickstand to access the screws.

    • Remove the two T5 Torx screws:

    • One from the left hinge

    • One from the right hinge

  3. Microsoft Surface Pro Kickstand Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • To remove the kickstand, gently pull up until the three tabs slide out of the slots on the back of the device.
