Introduction

In this guide, we will be showing you how to remove and replace the Battery.

1. Step 1 Turn over the Computer
  WARNING: Before working inside your computer, read the safety information that shipped with your computer. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin.
  
  CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface.
  
  Turn the computer upside down on a clean, flat surface.

2. Step 2 Clicking the Battery Release Latch
  Slide and click the battery release latch.

4. Step 3 Sliding the Battery
  Slide the battery out of the battery bay.
