This teardown is not a repair guide. To repair your Nintendo 3DS Game Card (Cartridge), use our service manual.

1. Step 1 Locate the Tab on the Game Card
  Find the tab on the left side of the cartridge.

2. Step 2 Pry open the Cartridge
  Use your fingernails to pop open the top from the bottom
  
  BE CAREFUL WHILE DOING THIS. If you aren’t careful, the game case may crack and or not go back together.

4. Step 3 Pry around the rest of the Game Card with an Opening Tool
  Go around all parts of the cartridge and do not crack the plastic.

6. Step 4 Remove the top of the Cartridge
  Remove the top of the Game Card with your fingers.
