Introduction

This guide can be used to help you replace or upgrade the RAM in your MSI GE70 2PE Apache Pro. This is a straight forward repair that requires only a Phillips screwdriver and a plastic opening tool. It should take no longer than 5 minutes to finish replacing or upgrading your RAM.

  1. Turn over the laptop so the battery compartment is facing up.
    • Turn over the laptop so the battery compartment is facing up.

  2. Push the right latch all the way to the right until it clicks into place.

  3. Pull and hold the left latch.

  4. Pry the battery upward using the indent.

  7. Gently pull the clips holding the RAM until the RAM stick pops up. Slide the stick of RAM out. Slide the stick of RAM out.

    • Slide the stick of RAM out.

  8. Repeat the process for the second RAM stick. Repeat the process for the second RAM stick. Repeat the process for the second RAM stick.
