Introduction

This guide will show how to lubricate the power dial. Your power dial will operate smooth after completing this guide.

Image 1/2: Remove the phone cord from the phone jack from the base of the headset. Image 2/2: Use a plastic opening tool to remove the phone cord.
  • Unplug the device before proceeding.

  • Remove the phone cord from the phone jack from the base of the headset.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to remove the phone cord.

Image 1/3: Unscrew the 7.5mm screw. Image 2/3: Remove the screw cap. Image 3/3: Remove the cord from the phone base.
  • Remove the phone cord screw cap.

    • Unscrew the 7.5mm screw.

    • Remove the screw cap.

  • Remove the cord from the phone base.

  • Use finger to remove the battery cover.

  • Remove the Volume Dial by gently grasping the dial and pulling away from the base.

Image 1/1: Remove the 3 12mm screws with the Philips head #1 screw driver.
  • Remove the 6 screws from the base shell.

    • Remove the 3 12mm screws with the Philips head #1 screw driver.

    • Remove the 3 18mm screws with the Philips head #1 screw driver.

  • Pry off the base shell using a Plastic Opener Tool.

Image 1/1: CAUTION: Make sure lubricant does not circuit board.  This can damage the circuit board.
  • Inside base shell on circuit board, lubricate power switch.
