Logitech MBJ58 Mouse Button Replacement

What you need

  1. Logitech MBJ58 Mouse Button Replacement, Mouse button: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Unfortunately, the left mouse button was 2x "sucked out" (button & the plastic pin over it)

    • Solution: Swap the button on the left with the mouse wheel button and - n small piece of office clip - for reinforcement - melt into the bottom of the pen.

    • YahooOoO - Looift widerer! Addendum: "mouse wheel click" Works by the way also - because there small springs ensure that the button does not "stick" in the pressed state

    • Loosen the Phillips screw in the bottom.

    • The plastic holder of the mouse buttons is loosened by carefully pressing the two plastic closures in the middle.

    • The motherboard is just plugged in and can be carefully removed forwards and upwards.

    • Sensibly, first clean everything (dry).

    • Now click the button for "Links" with the button below the mouse wheel. The solder joints are huge and easy to get even for beginners.

    • Everything should click together again and screws can be screwed back in. -> Loooift.

Conclusion

Repeat the steps in reverse order to reassemble your device.
