Logitech G602 Scroll Wheel Replacement

What you need

  1. Logitech G602 Scroll Wheel Replacement, Scroll Wheel Spring: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Use a blue spudger to pry off all 4 mouse feet from under of mouse.

  2. Logitech G602 Scroll Wheel Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Use a Phillips #00 screwdriver to unscrew all 6 screws (3x5mm ) from under the mouse feet.

    • Lift the top of the mouse from the base of the mouse (separate the mouse in half) to expose the internal hardware.

  4. Logitech G602 Scroll Wheel Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Use the black spudger to move the tip of the metal spring off of the wheel.

    • The scroll wheel will not actually be removed — instead, the adjustment to the metal spring will test the wheel's usability.

Conclusion

I recently received an approximately 2 year old Logitech g602 mouse. Its scroll is non-functional, either up or down. I do seem to be able to scroll minimally if I press the scroll wheel down. I was wondering if you know how this might be fixed. Anything is appreciated.
