Lenovo Ideapad Flex 4-1570 Speakers Replacement

Introduction

If you have trouble listening to sounds on your laptop, and the audio sounds distorted, use this guide to replace your audio speakers.

What you need

  1. Lenovo Ideapad Flex 4-1570 Speakers Replacement, Back Panel: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Shut down and unplug your laptop before you begin.

    • Remove the nine 6 mm screws using a T5 Torx Screwdriver.

    • Remove the two 10 mm screws using a T5 Torx Screwdriver.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to carefully pry off the back cover.

    • Remove the back cover.

    • Lift up on each speaker, one by one. The speaker should lift up with ease.

    • Unwind the speaker wire from the plastic brackets. Once you have the wire completely unwinded, use two blue iFixit tools to disconnect the speaker chip from the motherboard.
