Toshiba Satellite C50D-A Fan Replacement

What you need

  1. Toshiba Satellite C50D-A Fan Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 1

    • Click button 1 to the unlocked position.

    • This button will have a 1 by it.

    • Using the Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the eleven 2.5mm screws.

    • Remove the one 2.5mm Phillips #1 middle plate screw.

    • Lift up the middle vent panel.

    • Set the panel to the side.

    • Using the plastic opening tool, remove the outer panel and set to the side.

    • Be careful not to break the back of the computer.

    • Using a Phillips #1 screwdriver, remove the one 1.5mm screw.

    • Lift the fan up and blow compressed air or replace with a new one.

    • Blow compressed air into the spirals in the middle of the fan.
