Lenovo Edge Thinkpad E431 Battery Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show how to replace the small 3 volt internal lithium battery for the Lenovo ThinkPad Edge E431 laptop.

What you need

  1. Lenovo Edge Thinkpad E431 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 2 Lenovo Edge Thinkpad E431 Battery Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove the 2mm Phillips #00 screw from the battery cover.

    • Lift the battery cover out of its slot.

  3. Lenovo Edge Thinkpad E431 Battery Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • Disconnect the battery cable.
