  • Carefully unscrew the four (4) screws on the bottom of the camera.

  • Make sure you don't miss the one that's actually in the tripod socket hole.

  • Open the back door on the camera by pushing down on the door latch.

Image 1/1: From here, you can replace the bottom plate, or continue on to further steps.
  • Apply pressure to the bottom plate and it will pop off.
