Introduction

If you are having issues texting or navigating with your keypad, it might be necessary to replace your old keypad with a new one.

What you need

1. Step 1 Keypad
  Power off your phone.
  
  Turn your phone so that the bottom is facing upwards.
  
  Remove all four screw covers and screws from the back of the phone with the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

  Gently pry open the back of the keyboard.

  Pull the rubber keyboard off carefully.
  
  Be sure not to remove the silver button panel below the keyboard.
