Introduction

If you are having issues texting or navigating with your keypad, it might be necessary to replace your old keypad with a new one.

  1. Power off your phone.
    • Power off your phone.

    • Turn your phone so that the bottom is facing upwards.

    • Remove all four screw covers and screws from the back of the phone with the Phillips #0 Screwdriver.

    • Be sure to keep the screws in a container, so that they won't be misplaced.

  2. Gently pry open the back of the keyboard.
    • Gently pry open the back of the keyboard.

    • Pull the rubber keyboard off carefully.

    • Be sure not to remove the silver button panel below the keyboard.

    • Align the new rubber keypad with the four gold tabs at the top of the keypad.
