Introduction

In order to install the keypad, the bottom portion of phone will have to be disassembled, but the motherboard will not be required to be completely removed.

  • Hold your phone with the back casing facing you and the bottom of the phone towards the sky.

  • Grasp the edges of the phone with one hand.

  • Insert the spudger into the tab at the top of the back panel and push to release the panel.

Image 2/2: When you do this the plastic camera button will pop out. It is not directly attached to anything. Make sure to save it for reassembly because it must be placed back on its tab at the side with the camera icon is facing right side up to work correctly
  • Flip the phone open with the back side still facing you.

  • Grasping the phone on the sides, use your fingers to push up on the keypad and motherboard until they release from the phone casing.

    • When you do this the plastic camera button will pop out. It is not directly attached to anything. Make sure to save it for reassembly because it must be placed back on its tab at the side with the camera icon is facing right side up to work correctly
