LG VX4400 Screen Replacement

Introduction

This guide will show you how to replace the screen.

What you need

    • Remove the four rubber stoppers around the main screen using a pointed-end spudger

  2. LG VX4400 Screen Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1

    • Use a number #00 Philips screwdriver to unscrew the four screws under the rubber stoppers

    • Use a plastic opening tool, pry the top end open

    • Whilst prying the top panel with one plastic opening tool, use a thinner iPod opening tool to slide down the gap and pry open the case

    • Free the opposite side in the same manner

    • Remove plastic screen panel to reveal internal components

    • Remove the screen board by lifting away from the phone

    • Remove speaker by prying with a spudger

    • Once screen board is pulled away, gently press out the plastic screen
