LG LMx30776D Water Filter Replacement

Introduction

This guide aims to replace the water filter of an LG LMx30776D refrigerator. A new water filter is required every six months. When replacing this part, an optional step is to place a bucket of water under the fridge door in case water is trapped in the filter so it does not spill on the floor.

Face the fridge so the water and ice dispenser are on the left, like in the picture.

Open the left door of the refrigerator.

Once the door is open, face the door so you can see the trays. Remove any articles present.

Place your hands on the bottom part of the bottom tray and lift it upwards to remove it.

Remove the filter by turning the bottom part to the left.

Insert the filter by ensuring the thin part is on the left and the thick part is on the right, like in the picture in Step 5. When inserting the filter, turn the bottom portion to the right to tighten.
