Introduction

The power and volume buttons allow the user to turn on/off their LG K7 as well as to control the volume of their phone . It can stop working for a number of reasons but the main reason is wear. It can be replaced in about 25 minutes with the guide below.

  4. Pry off the silver button housing using the plastic opening tool.

  5. Separate the screen from the rest of the phone using the plastic opening tool.

    • The frame is held to the rest of the phone with plastic tabs. Release each tab one at a time around the phone for the easiest removal.

    • Do not bend the outer frame or screen when separating them. This will severely damage the phone.
