Kyocera Echo Front Screen Replacement

Introduction

This guide is simple, but extreme care must be taken to ensure damage is not caused to the actual screen of the phone. Since it takes some force to remove the screen, it is possible the old glass is cracked or already broken. Extra caution should be taken when handling broken glass.

Orient the phone so that the screen is facing up. Place the metal spudger in the half-circle opening located near the bottom right of the Sprint logo at the top of the screen, identified with a red square.

Step 2

Gently wedge the metal spudger between the top screen and the phone to separate it. Continue wedging along the outside of the screen carefully with the metal spudger until the screen is apart.
