Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement

What you need

  1. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement, MotherBoard: step 1, image 1 of 1
    • Use the Phillips #0 Screwdriver to remove four 5mm screws from sides of the device.

  2. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Use the Ifixit opening tool to pry open the device to remove the back of the Kurio Motion.

  3. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the tape covering the tape from the edges of the battery.

  4. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • Remove the orange connectors that are connected to the motherboard by lifting up the white tab, and then gently pulling the connector out.

    • Take out the 5mm screws located at the top right and left of the motherboard.

    • Remove the tape covering the camera gently.

  7. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 7, image 1 of 1
    • Use your spudger to carefully take out the camera.

  8. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 8, image 1 of 1
    • Use your soldering tool to solder the wires that are connected to the battery and the gray wire next them.

  9. Kurio Motion MotherBoard Replacement: step 9, image 1 of 1
    • Use your soldering tool to solder the wires that are connected to the speakers.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
