Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement

What you need

  1. Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement, Back Cover: step 1, image 1 of 2 Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement, Back Cover: step 1, image 2 of 2
    • Remove the two 6.2mm Phillips screws on both sides of camera's back cover.

  2. Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement: step 2, image 1 of 1
    • Turn camera so the bottom is facing up and the front is facing away.

    • Remove the two 6.2mm Phillips screws on the bottom back cover of the camera.

    • Back cover is now unscrewed an can be removed.

  3. Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement: step 3, image 1 of 1
    • Have the back of the camera facing up.

    • Unscrew the 6.2mm Phillips screw next to the viewfinder.

    • The back cover is now unscrewed. Lift up and pull the cover off evenly.

  4. Kodak S100 EF Flash Capacitor Replacement, Flash Capacitor: step 4, image 1 of 1
    • The capacitor is located at the bottom center of the camera.
