Introduction

Adjusting the beater head is a simple process involving only some handling of a screwdriver.

Parts

No parts required.

Image 1/2: Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the screw counter-clockwise to raise the beater head or turn it clockwise to lower the beater head. Image 2/2: The beater head should pass only about 1/16th of an inch above the base of the bowl. One good way to get the height right is to place a dime in the bowl and adjust the height until the beater head barely brushes the dime as it passes.
  • Lift the mixer arm and locate the large screw where the base meets the arm.

  • Using a flathead screwdriver, turn the screw counter-clockwise to raise the beater head or turn it clockwise to lower the beater head.

Thank you! Problem solved!!!
