Kingston HyperX CloudX Cap Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace any faulty caps that are found on the sides on the Kingston HyperX CloudX Headset.

The caps are essential because they hold up the sides of the microphone. It gives the headphones stability and access to adjust the sides of the microphone by moving it up and down. If there is any damage to the caps or the caps have gone missing, you will have trouble using your headset for your gaming needs.

What you need

    • Use a T5 Torx screwdriver to remove the two screws from the cap.
