Fully shut down your laptop and unplug all cables.

Remove the stylus from the case.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to fully loosen the four captive screws securing the back cover.

Lift the top edge of the cover to release the clips, starting at the corners and working towards the center.

Use a Phillips screwdriver to fully loosen the three captive screws securing the battery.

-
-
Gently lift the upper edge of the battery to disconnect it from the motherboard.

Remove the battery.
-

-
Use the point of a spudger or a clean fingernail to lift the small locking flap on the fingerprint reader connector.

Use a pair of tweezers to slide the fingerprint reader cable out of its connector.

-
Disconnect the touchpad cable ZIF connector, located on the touchpad.
-
-
-
Disconnect the wide keyboard cable ZIF connector, located on the motherboard.
-
-
-
Disconnect the small keyboard cable ZIF connector, located on the motherboard.
-

-
Use a Phillips screwdriver to fully loosen the six captive screws securing the keyboard assembly.

-
Flip your laptop over and open the screen just past 90 degrees—far enough to fit your fingers between the screen and keyboard assembly.

Lift the keyboard assembly near the hinges and remove it.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
