Kenmore Dryer Drum Light Replacement

Introduction

Use this guide to replace a faulty drum light in your Kenmore dryer. In this guide, we have a model 110.63012101 dryer.

Like other bulbs, after sufficient use the bulb may fail and have cause to be replaced.

Unlike most bulbs, these bulbs are treated to handle external heat from the dryer. Be sure that the replacement bulb is suitable for use in a dryer.

What you need

  1. Kenmore Dryer Drum Light Replacement, Drum Light: step 1, image 1 of 3 Kenmore Dryer Drum Light Replacement, Drum Light: step 1, image 2 of 3 Kenmore Dryer Drum Light Replacement, Drum Light: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Remove the 14 mm long Phillips screw in the lower right of the light cover.

    • Remove the plastic light cover.

    • Unscrew the light from its base in the enclosure.

my model has a bolt instead of a phillips screw, but I don't know what size of bolt itis
