Introduction
This guide teaches you how to replace a broken or damaged kazoo diaphragm or membrane.
The diaphragm is essential for a working kazoo. If your kazoo is out of tune or not producing sound, you most likely have a damaged diaphragm.
A functional diaphragm provides the sound you want to produce. Eventually, some diaphragms will likely burst and rip after prolonged use. You most likely need a new diaphragm if you realize your kazoo is no longer producing sound.
Before using this guide, look down the middle of the kazoo to inspect your diaphragm for any tears or holes. This guide does not damage your kazoo in any way.

Take a new diaphragm and place it back into the kazoo.

Twist the cap back on.

Take some paper towel and spray isopropyl alcohol on it to wipe off any dirt or dust.

Finally, let the kazoo dry off for 5 minutes, and it will sound new again. Happy playing!
