Introduction

The process of replacing the battery includes finding the specifications of the battery to be used as well as desoldering and soldering the battery terminals to the motherboard. This replacement guide will give you the confidence to do it yourself.

Once you have carefully separated the bottom case from the top case locate the two batteries attached to the motherboard. Notice the positive and negative battery terminals are soldered to the motherboard.
