JBL Everest Elite 300 Charging Port Replacement

Headphones not powering on? It may be caused by the charging port malfunctioning, which may cause the headphones to not charge, making them unusable. Here's a guide to replace it! All you need is a Phillips #000 screwdriver, a soldering iron, and an iFixit opening tool.

What you need

    • Remove the ear pad with an opening pick.

    • Reveal the speaker.

    • Remove the 4.5 mm screws using the Phillips #00 screwdriver.

    • Pull apart the bronze speaker away from the headphones carefully to reveal the wiring.

    • Desolder the motherboard speaker connection.

    • Remove the .5mm screw on the headphone jack circuit board that is covering the charging port.
