Introduction
The plastic base covers the electronic components inside the instant pot. Before you can touch anything inside of the device the base must be removed.
What you need
-
-
Take off the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.
-
-
-
-
Flip the Instant Pot over on its top so that the base is facing upward.
-
-
-
Rotate the base counter-clockwise, then gently lift the base off of the device.

Hi, I would like to know, where can I buy a new plastic base? Thank you
I would like to buy one of these for an 8 Qt model….very hard to source this and terrible customer support as this seems to be a issue for many that burned theirs.
Did you ever find out where you can buy this part.
Thank you. Belinda
Has anyone found the replacement part? It isn't available through Instant Pot customer service.
On my Instant Pot Nova Plus series, the screw on the bottom plate is a T15 instead of Philips #2
Does anyone know where to by the plastic bottom
Hi,
We also need a new plastic base as ours got accidentally melted on the stove.
Any sources for replacement part
Hey I would like to buy this, and could I know how I can get it?
I need one - the whole base. Who else did burn one :-) ??
Were do I get this item? All other appliances I'm used to have a blow-up drawing, where every single item usually can be sourced.
Had higher expectations for Instant Pot in regards to spare parts, one of the reasons I did not want a knock-off,
If the base can’t be found, what is the point of having instructions on how to repair it? I can’t find a base either!
