Instant Pot Smart-60 Float Valve Replacement

Introduction

The float valve requires its rubber seal to function properly. If this or another part of the valve is missing, it will not be able to function properly and needs to be replaced. This guide will demonstrate how to remove and replace the float valve of your instant pot.

What you need

  1. Instant Pot Smart-60 Float Valve Replacement, Float Valve: step 1, image 1 of 2 Instant Pot Smart-60 Float Valve Replacement, Float Valve: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Open the lid of the Instant Pot. Grasp the handle and rotate the lid counter-clockwise, then lift up to separate the lid from the base.

    • Turn the lid upside down to access the float valve.

    • Remove the silicone cover by grasping it and pulling upward.

    • Push down on the metal part of the float valve to pop it out.
