Instructions for how to replace the sealing ring of the Instant Pot IP-DUO80 V2 to ensure the pot closes completely.

What you need

  1. Instant Pot IP-DUO80 V2 Sealing Ring Replacement, Sealing Ring: step 1, image 1 of 2 Instant Pot IP-DUO80 V2 Sealing Ring Replacement, Sealing Ring: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Remove the lid of the Instant Pot by twisting it counter-clockwise.

    • Flip the lid upside down.

    • Push the bottom of the sealing ring in and up to detach one section of it from the metal ring.

    • Put your finger between the loosened sealing ring and the metal ring and slide your finger around the circumference of the lid to fully release the ring.

    • During reassembly, push one section of sealing ring down and around the metal ring (concave side of sealing ring facing metal ring) and continue with same motion around the whole ring.
