Instant Pot 60 EPC Float Valve Replacement

Introduction

The following guide is for replacing the float valve on an Instant Pot 60 EPC. Consider following this guide if you have issues with your float valve not popping up, steam leaking from the valve, or the Instant Pot isn't pressurizing.

What you need

  1. Instant Pot 60 EPC Float Valve Replacement, Float Valve: step 1, image 1 of 3 Instant Pot 60 EPC Float Valve Replacement, Float Valve: step 1, image 2 of 3 Instant Pot 60 EPC Float Valve Replacement, Float Valve: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Remove the lid from the Instant Pot and turn it around to see the inside.

    • Locate the float valve.

    • Remove the plastic covering on the float valve.

    • Flip the lid over and remove the valve from the top of the lid.

    • The float valve is now free and can be replaced with a new one.

    • Instant Pot does not supply replacement valves so one will need to be purchased from a secondary source.
