Introduction

This guide will help you replace a broken or damaged internal fan within your Insignia NS-HTMC01-B ceramic heater. A broken or damaged fan can cause your heater to put out lower amounts of heat, or no heat at all.

Flip your device over so the back panel faces you. You should see a hole containing a screw in each corner of the device.

  • Insert a 4-inch Phillips #1 screwdriver into each hole until connected with the 20 millimeter, sharp-point screw.

Rotate the screwdriver counter-clockwise until screws are removed.

  • Make sure to firmly connect your screwdriver with the head of the screw. A loose connection can strip the screw head, making the screws impossible to remove.
