Insignia NS-F12R6-SS Front Fan Cage Replacement

Introduction

In order to access the fan blades or the motor housing, the front of the fan cage must be removed.

What you need

  1. Insignia NS-F12R6-SS Front Fan Cage Replacement, Front Cage: step 1, image 1 of 2 Insignia NS-F12R6-SS Front Fan Cage Replacement, Front Cage: step 1, image 2 of 2

    • Unplug your fan.

    • Remove the 20 mm bolt that fastens the fan ring located at the bottom of the fan cage with a Phillips #3 screwdriver.

    • Remove the ring that runs around the edge of the fan cage.

    • Remove the front of the fan cage.
