Huawei SnapTo G-620 Microphone Replacement

Introduction

If you have difficulty being heard clearly on your Huawei SnapTo G-620, then the microphone may need to be replaced. This guide shows you how to replace your SnapTo's microphone.

What you need

  1. Huawei SnapTo G-620 Microphone Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 1 of 3 Huawei SnapTo G-620 Microphone Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 2 of 3 Huawei SnapTo G-620 Microphone Replacement, Battery: step 1, image 3 of 3

    • Pry open the back cover with your fingernail, using the divot to the lower left hand corner.

    • Remove all fifteen 4mm Phillips J00 screws on the back panel.

    • Using a metal spudger or your fingernail, remove the back panel.

    • Remove the pictured 4mm Phillips J00 screw.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to remove the pictured flat-top connector.

    • Remove the battery.

    • Use a plastic opening tool to remove the pictured flat-top connector.

    • Using the plastic opening tool remove the camera.

    • Use the plastic opening tool to remove all the remaining flat-top connectors.

    • Using the spudger, pry open the zif connector, and remove the cable.

    • Using tweezers or the spudger, remove the microphone.
