  • Start on the bottom left corner of the back cover with an opening pick.

  • Work your way around counterclockwise and carefully pry the plastic tabs open one by one.

Image 1/2: There is adhesive underneath the back cover that holds it to the battery and the metal plate at the top. Image 2/2: Be careful with the flex cable at the right hand side.
  • When reaching the top right corner of the phone switch to a plastic card.

    • There is adhesive underneath the back cover that holds it to the battery and the metal plate at the top.

  • Use the plastic card to lever the back cover away and loosen it from the adhesive.

  • When the back cover is freed from the adhesive you can pop it off by hand completely.

Hi! Im so sad! At the begginig of the operation i ve broken the white seal/connector that in one side is connected to the board and the other side is "glued" to the battery. Can someone help me? how can i solve this?? There is no image displayed on the screen. but there is vibration, sound, notifications... can someone help me please???

Image 1/3: If there are any water indicators on top of the screws, take them off and set them aside. Image 2/3: Unplug the fingerprint sensor connector from the motherboard. Image 3/3: Don't take away the plate, yet. The NFC antenna is still glued to it.
  • Loosen the 9 Phillips #00 screws that hold the metal plate with the sensor.

    • If there are any water indicators on top of the screws, take them off and set them aside.

  • Unplug the fingerprint sensor connector from the motherboard.

    • Don't take away the plate, yet. The NFC antenna is still glued to it.

  • Peel off the the flex cable of the NFC antenna that is adhered to the metal plate.
