Introduction

This guide will explain how to replace the Earpiece Speaker for the Huawei P8 Lite.

  • Use an Opening Tool and start to lever up the back cover of your Huawei P8 Lite at the bottom of your phone.

  • There are clips around the whole mid frame, holding down the back cover. Open all of them with the Opening Tool.

Image 1/3: Remove the 4 Pentalobe screws which hold down the lower part of the loudspeaker. Image 2/3: Remove the three Phillips #000 screws which hold down the upper part of the loudspeaker. Image 3/3: Remove the loudspeaker carefully.
  • Use a tweezer to remove the water indicator sticker which sits on a screw in the bottom right of your phone.

  • Remove the 4 Pentalobe screws which hold down the lower part of the loudspeaker.

  • Remove the three Phillips #000 screws which hold down the upper part of the loudspeaker.

  • Remove the loudspeaker carefully.

  • Continue by removing the SIM and SD card trays on the side of the device.

Image 1/3: Remove the five Phillips #000 screws. Image 2/3: Take away both securing brackets covering the motherboard. Image 3/3: If your phone has an NFC antenna, taking away the cover will automatically free its flex connector from the motherboard.
  • Remove the two Torx T5 screws. One may be cover with a liquid indicator.

  • Remove the five Phillips #000 screws.

  • Remove the three Phillips #000 screws on the silver panel.

  • Carefully separate the four connectors holding the motherboard in place.

  • Remove the motherboard from the device.

  • Using the Tweezers, carefully remove the Earpiece Speaker.

  • Insert the new Earpiece Speaker and follow these steps in reverse order to reassemble the device.
