Introduction
Repaired 3rd breaking light by replacing an diode on the circuitboard. Opel Astra G 2003.
8 out of 10 times the light was weak and the cause was this diode that failed most of the times.
In my car Black wire was +12V and Brown was GND.
What you need

Replace diode with 1N4001 - 1N4007 or any other diode that is >0,5A capable.
