Introduction

You may think your Keurig is broken and done for good, but it may just be clogged. Use this guide to unclog your Keurig coffee brewer in just a few easy steps. All you'll need is your coffee brewer, a paperclip, a bottle of white vinegar and approximately 30 minutes.

Disassemble all of the parts.  This includes: water tank, lid, K-cup holder, and both pieces of the tray where the coffee cup sits.

Unclog the needles using a slightly bent paperclip. With the top of the Keuring open, insert the free end of the paperclip into the three small holes surrounding the needle that pierces the K-Cup. Jiggle the paperclip to loosen any debris.

Fill the water tank with a half water-half vinegar solution.

  • Run the water-vinegar solution through the machine until you have emptied the tank.

  • Run clean water through the machine. You may have to repeat this step several times to get all of the water-vinegar solution out of the pipes.
