Introduction
Use this guide to fix a dent in your Hydro Flask or similar metal water bottle.
A large part of the appeal of Hydro Flasks is the aesthetics. Dents ruin the overall appearance of the bottle, become an eyesore, and can be hard to cover up. Although they are a good alternative to plastic bottle they are not the easiest to maintain as they are easily dented with frequent usage despite their high price tag. Instead of purchasing a new one and discarding the old one, this guide can help you easily restore your bottle to their original shape, saving the environment and your wallet.
This guide will restore dents made on the metal portion of the bottle and not any of the plastic components on the lid. This repair is for aesthetic purpose only and are not effective for repairing the vacuum insulation ability of the bottle if dents damage the interior bottle walls.
What you need

Empty your Hydro Flask water bottle and clean the exterior.

Place your Hydro Flask in an empty sink.

Pour the boiling water directly onto the dented area for about 10 seconds.

Immediately submerge the dented area into the prepared ice bath for about 10 seconds.

To reassemble your device, follow these instructions in reverse order.
