Introduction
Go to step 1 ↓When you want to spin dry the mop the Red pedal goes to the floor as if something is broken.
Not to worry. No parts are damaged. The One Way bearing / clutch has stuck, from water or moisture and just needs a drop or two of oil. Any oil you have will do just to free up the one way clutch / bearing and lubricate so it does not happen again for a while.

I had the same problem but fixed it slightly different. I turned the empty bucket upside down, removed the four pz2 screws. Lifted out gearing in one piece. Removed rust/debris from two month old bucket stainless steel shaft and sprayed with water dispersant liquid. Reassembled. May sound complicated but very easy and thorough job. Only about 10 minutes, screwdriver and lubricant spray.
Where I can buy new pedal? Mine is broken.
