How to Repair a Ripped Face Mask Strap

Using a pair of scissors cut off any potential fraying on both the face mask and the detached strap.

Set the face mask on a flat surface.

Place the sewing thread through the hole of the hand sewing needle, this is called threading the needle.
Secure the far end of the sewing thread with a knot.

Run the needle through the strap and the corresponding place on the face mask.

Hand stitch the strap to the mask.
Repeat this until the strap is fully attached to the face mask.

To end the sewing process thread the needle under the nearest stitch and pull the needle through the loop that is formed, this should create a knot.
Do this twice to secure the stitches in place.
