Place your snow globe in a heat-resistant bowl.
Put on your heat-resistant gloves and keep them on for the entire process.

Boil some water, then pour it in the bowl until it covers the top of the snow globe’s base.
Leave the snow globe in the water for about a minute to loosen the adhesive.

Remove the snow globe from the bowl and twist the snow globe counterclockwise from its base to separate the base from the globe.
Once the adhesive is loosened, the globe should separate from the base with minimal force.
If the globe is not easily separating from the base, place it back in the boiling water for one more minute and then try again. Repeat as many times as necessary.
