Introduction
This guide will show you how to fix a broken jump ring on a dangle earring. There is no need for special skills to repair a broken jump ring on your earring, you just need to have the tools to fix it.
You can apply these 6 steps to any type of earring that has a broken or missing jump ring and replace it with a new one. It is easy to replace and inexpensive to buy, you can get it in any jewelry or craft supply store.
What you need

Clean the jump ring of the earring and the earring itself.

Take the jump ring with the two small needle-nose pliers.

Gently open the jump ring using the needle nose pliers.

Take the top part of the earring with your dominant hand.

Put the jump ring through the top part of the earring.

To close the jump ring, use both of the needle nose pliers.

Use your dominant hand to close the space in the jump ring.

Make sure that the jump ring is closed.

Hold the earring up to make sure it's secure.

To just change a clasp that it was not broken, follow these instructions in reverse order.
