Introduction
When the KDC-BT565U is displaying unexpected behavior with buttons or radio functions, you can perform a hard reset to revert the radio back to its original state. This will restore factory settings.
Prerequisites
The car must be powering the KDC-BT565U before resetting. Turn the key in the ignition until the KDC-BT565U display turns on, then begin the guide.

You will now have the face plate and the main component that includes the CD drive. Put the face plate aside and locate the small circle button labelled "Reset" on the main component.

Press and hold the reset button with a pointed edge tool for 5 seconds.
