With today's modern conveniences, it is easy to forget the simpler ways of doing things. Line drying your clothes is not only better for the environment, but it is better for your clothes.
You know that lint screen in your dryer? All of that lint is actually bits of the fibers of your garment that come off due to the heat and tumbling of your dryer. Over time, this can wear out your clothes.
If you live where the weather doesn't permit line drying outside, set up a line in your bathroom or garage.
No parts required.
Position your garment along the clothesline with the bottom edge of the garment facing up.
Fold the bottom inch or so of the garment over the line.
Grip the ends of a clothespin to hold it open.
Position the clothespin over the folded fabric so that the gap in the clothespin sits on the clothesline and the open end pinches the two layers of the garment.
Put one clothespin on each side of the garment.
Allow the garment to stay on the clothesline until it is dry.
