    • Using a hammer, tap in the sleeve anchors with the washer and bolt still attached, to prevent the sleeve and anchor bolt from separating.

    • Keep tapping the sleeve anchor until most of the sleeve is seated in the wood while leaving 12.7 mm of thread protruding from the wood.

    • Remove the bolts and washers from Sleeve Anchors once they have been inserted into the piloted holes.

    • Use a a 1/2 inch wrench to fasten the salvaged hardware onto the gate latch.

    • Reattach the gate latch and handle with the new hardware from the sleeve anchors with a 1/2 inch wrench.
